Our theme for 2024 refers to the various ways in which you are able to meaningfully impact on the life of a child-in-need, setting them up to succeed in their school career - and in their subsequent life choices.
The Santa Shoebox Project has two distinct initiatives - the Santa Shoebox itself, both Traditional (aka DIY) and Virtual, as well as the SSP Legacy.
Traditional Santa Shoebox - Pledge from 1 September; choose your child and create a love-filled gift of 8 specified essential items and treats.
Virtual Santa Shoebox - Available year-round, the VSS reaches children living in rural areas, far from urban drop off points. Proceeds from this initiative are allocated to ensuring that children in their formative years, attending under-resourced educational facilities, reach their developmental goals.
SSP Legacy - In 2024 the Santa Shoebox Project will be building its 5th Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre, training hundreds more ECD practitioners and installing Reading Corners at under-resourced ECDs.
Volunteers are of course the heart of Santa Shoebox. Do you have a few hours to spare each month? Our beloved Project welcomes team-members nationwide and in Namibia. These teams particularly, are in need of members -
