I joined Santa Shoebox because, while I loved making up the boxes, after volunteering for a few hours at a drop off about 5 years ago, I was hooked. It has become an important part of my life, seeing those faces at the celebration parties makes me want to do more.
I joined SSB because I feel passionate about underprivileged children in our community and with SSB I can see the difference a special gift makes to a deserving child. I have been part of SSB for past 5 years and hope to be part of it for many more.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I want to instill a sense of hope into our children, by showing them that love & kindness are far greater than their circumstances. And that a beautiful and bright future is indeed possible.
I joined Santa Shoebox Project because I love gift giving and now I can not only help do so on a large scale, but I can be part of the celebration and happiness associated with this project around Christmas time.
I joined Santa Shoebox Project because what better way to restore faith in the lives of our beautiful country’s future leaders than by surprising them with boxes filled with all the supplies they need. I believe it is the little reminder they too are special and loved, and so capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I realised that I could take my time and use it towards giving love to God’s Children who don’t always get the essentials, love and attention that I have been blessed with. This amazing project allows you to give a happy box of goodies and necessities to an under-privilege child and they may too feel happiness and love.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I have a passion for children and love to put a smile on their faces. I believe that giving is more rewarding than receiving and love to be a part of the Positive Influence in the world.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I have always loved Christmas and the sense of magic around the season, Santa Shoebox gives us the opportunity to spread magic and joy to those who are less fortunate. I can think of no better way to celebrate the season.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I have an absolute love and passion for children and a huge sense of community, a burning need within me to do for the greater good. There are so many very desperate and sad stories in our district and area, what a privilege to have an opportunity to participate in making a difference in some of their lives.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I wanted to show the young generation that people still care about them, that their lives are valuable and that they have the right to share in joy and happiness, and peace, of the festive season.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I truly believe if you make a difference to one little heart, it might change the world for them. And to witness those happy little hearts for yourself, is something words can’t describe.
I joined the Santa Shoebox Project because I believe that if everyone would “give back” just a little bit, the world would be a much better place to live in, and any change I want to see, starts with me. It doesn’t have to be monetary, even an hour or two of your time, once a year, makes a difference.
